United Way of Colquitt County will host a Nonprofit Capacity Building Series in partnership with UGA J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development.

Selected participants will be first come, first served.
This series has a total of 6 sessions (four in person day-long workshops and two online abbreviated sessions) focused on capacity building for up to 25 nonprofit leaders. Sessions are designed to build the participant’s ability to create, manage, and sustain a well-functioning organization. Individual sessions will be designed around specific objectives related to: (1) Nonprofit Leadership Competencies, (2) Strategic Planning, (3) Youth Engagement, (4) Governance, (5) Trends in Fundraising, and (6) the Board’s Role in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Lunch will be provided to participants for in-person sessions. Participants must be able to attend all sessions.
In-person sessions will be August 17, September 14, October 12, and November 16. Online session dates TBD.
